I was using firefox. I  got it to work after cleaning the java cache and ran it on IE. I try and keep all the pogo games in the cache so it don't take an hour to load it.. probably not doing me much good keeping them in there for to long.. :)

i have a few things to fix that aren't secure. quicktime, adobe flash player 10.x and macromedia flash player 7.x. windows update is all up to date and i will do the rest in the morning.

Quicktime should be updated. It has a big security flaw in th eolder versions.

Do this to remove all unstable older versions of Flash.

Download the Flash Player Uninstaller and save it to your desktop.

Run the uninstaller program and then reboot your computer to complete the uninstall.

Download and install the latest version of Flash Player

the Data Execution Prevention shut down the download and browser. Do i have the settings wrong or something else?? I figured Its best to ask you first before I change the settings. Don't want to put my computer at risk....  its set at turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only.

Is this when you try to run the installer, or uninstaller?

Try right clicking it and choose 'Run as Adninistrator'

There is an issue with the most recent Avira AntiVir update so you might want to wait until tomorrow to install it. It suddenly started flagging WOT as dangerous. See here > http://forum.avira.com/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=84890

Hopefully they get it straightened out pretty fast. I recommend WOT to everyone and Avast to many people. Doesn't look to good for me or Computer Hope.

            Good Morning
I got WOT installed on both browsers today with no problems. :) I installed spywareblaster and working on quicktime. One question before I do macromedia flash player. Is it the same thing as Adobe flash player. Once I uninstalled and reinstalled adobe flash player I don't see the macromedia flash player. thank you again. :)

Yes. They are the same thing. Old name Macromedia, new name Adobe.

I thought I would check in to see if there is any more steps I need to do.. I'm still downloading adobe reader and then need to do quicktime.  :) unfortunately that will take me a couple more hours or so. Is there anything else I should be doing besides reading your wonderful blog.  :)

You should be set once that is complete.
