Hangs on Windows Vista Please Wait Screen

Hello guys, hopefully one of you can help me.
I have a Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit Laptop that I was playing a movie on when it shut down.  Now if I boot it into windows I can only get to the Please Wait screen.  I have waited for an hour and it will not go away.  I can boot into safe mode and I tried restoring the computer to over a month ago but the problem was not solved.  I have a boot log attached.  If you could help me with this that would be great.
I also did a MD5 check sum of the drivers directory on a working system and this one and the results are also attached.

Do you have the Windows Vista DVD?

If so, perform a Repair Install.

If I did I would have already done a full reinstall.  With this particular computer it needs a Toshiba OEM ACT cd in order for it to take the number.

Toshiba, eh? I wonder if it has a Recovery Partition. You may want to give that a shot.

To access the Toshiba recovery partition, power off the laptop. Hold down the 0 (zero) key and turn the laptop on. Keep holding down the zero key until the TOSHIBA logo appears, where you should start tapping the zero key repeatedly. Stop if the unit beeps or when the TOSHIBA logo disappears. The screen should flash ** HDD RECOVERY MODE ** for a split second, then load the Toshiba recovery program right from the hard drive.

Note that this erases all data, and reloads all factory default software. Be sure to back up all your important personal data beforehand!

Ok, tried the repair mode off of the vista cd. Still nothing. It went and said it was fixing problems for about 10 minutes, then it rebooted and the problem still existed.  When I try to wipe and reload off of this DVD it says that the Key is wrong.

I suggest contacting Toshiba and ordering the proper Recovery CD's...

They will send them usually for a small shipping fee.
