    Hard drive!!!!!!!!!

    I found an old hard drive(IDE) and when i connected it as a slave the operating system says "found new hardware " "installed and ready t use".But I cant acces the disk.It is not displayed in the My computer window.But the drive is listed in "device manager" as a properly working device.Any idea of acessing the data in this drive??Thanks in advance 8) 8) 8)

    Does it show up in Disk Management?

    Right click My computer and select Manage. Move down to Disk Management.

          Do you want to access the data in the drive or use it for a slave in your computer? What are you trying to accomplish?

          Can you give us some more information on your computer?

          How do you have your drives set up?
