Missing audio device for an Advent laptop

Hello,

I have somehow lost the audio device on my Advent 7098 laptop (model KN1), (and I have no idea how - I haven't removed any programs recently ).

I've tried finding an official advent website to download an audio driver but I'm not having much luck. Please, could someone offer me advice on where to find one? My OS is Windows XP.

I found a back-up in the applications folder.
