    Duplicate files that won't delete
    « on: March 21, 2009, 08:05:22 PM »
On my hard drive I recently noticed that I have many duplicate/nested folders that are apparently causing problems on my computer. However when I try to delete them the system won't let me, it then gives me this message,

C:\Program Files\Program\File refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer,or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted,or that you are connected to the internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located the information might have been moved to a different locat

If this message means that the file is not really there, then why is it still there as a visible location. Also I know they are affecting other files because I'm having many duplicate file and nested folder problems. Does anyone know how to get rid of these, or if you even can?

    Thanks alot

At this point you need to make a good backup of anything important.
