Troublesome Formated Computer
« on: March 23, 2009, 11:39:05 PM »
Recently I formatted a seemingly hopeless computer. After downloading much software and many drivers though, I still am having problems. When running Java Script programs for extended periods of time (from 15 minutes to an hour), the program locks up, and must be closed. Furthermore, the game Oblivion refuses to open correctly. (Installed fine, and brings up the start screen, but won't run the game. DVDs are able to be read, but freeze up the computer shortly after they start. Things seem to get more more laggy then they should at times too.
If you need more information about my computer just ask, and thanks for the help. ;)

There is the answer. I seemed hopeless. Now you know.
My guess is dirty power supply. I don't mean dusty. But the components are old and it is not giving good filtered power.
Just a guess, but a decent power supply is always a good investment. And less money that a new motherboard.
