Vista Thumbnail Previews for XP?

Vista Thumbnail Previews for XP? I did a Google, but the articles go on and on & I don't get it. Can you do it or not? How can you get Windows Explorer to show Thumbnails for documents as well as images? Curious minds need to know. 

(Am now running Windows XP and it only shows thumbnails for HTML documents.)

That was exactly the program I was going to suggest if it was what Geek wanted.

It looks like the kind of really cool thing that I install and use about 3 times and then uninstall.

Haha! Same. Haven't even installed it on my new laptop. No need for it.

Install --> Fiddle with settings --> Disable
