    my external harddrive is acting weird

    my external harddrive works fine except when i try to access certain files the drive ejects itself and reconnects. I can never access those files not even to delete them or scan them for viruses.

    What type of files are these ? ?
    Any particular folder location they are in or is it random ? ?
    What OS are you running ?
