Surge Protector

between August and September, I will be moving to Mesa Arizona. I'm wondering will I need to still have a surge protector out there.

But seriously, folks...take my wife...please!

If you have the surge protector, go ahead and continue to use it.  The power grid in Mesa may be stable, but lightning strikes anywhere.

    Lighting Strikes Everywhere in AZ, Specially during the Monsoons.
    Wanna have some real fun, go to Tucson in July and check out the flash floods.
    You'll wonder where the roads went

      Yes They have what they call the Monsoon Season beginning in July & running thru Sept
      Even Las Vegas has a few famous spots, along with Tucson where people drive theircar's in over their head and then say "Gee I didn't know the water was that deep.
      Tucson even has a special system where when flash floods occur the whole Emerg. Resp. Team heads out & detours traffic.
