    Broadcom 5701 driver

    Greetings all,

    I have been trying to install drivers for a Broadcom 5701 wireless card. My relative, who previously owned this laptop, had the card disabled. The previous driver was 2.16.00, I think. In trying to install a driver that I thought was the correct one, I did something wrong; I am now fairly sure I did not find an exact match.

    Any ideas on how to find drivers for this would be appreciated.

      If you actually have a 5701, this may help:
      Download drivers for the following chipsets:
      5700, 5701, 5703, 5704, 5714, 5715, 5721, 5722, 5723, 5780
      http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netxtreme_server.php

      This will help you to identify your card and driver properly:
      http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/determine_driver.php
