Photoshop: Proportionally sizing photos
« on: April 03, 2009, 02:26:11 PM »
When I crop a photo in Photoshop, how can I make it proportional? That is, how can I make it so it's proportional to common print sizes, i.e. 5x7, 8x10?  Thanks

It is called aspect ratio.
Whjile you are using the crop tool, you should see a status bar showing what is the new pixel size you have selected and a number the gives the aspect. Your want either 1.29 or 1.4 for the print sizes you gave.  :)
