Oh dear.

Well, I was trying to boot up me old 755CDV laptop, where the sample would likely be.

Little bugger won't let me type the password "m" creates two password characters for the BIOS password.

Something is wrong with the keyboard :(

yeppers. works with an external keyboard. Seems to be riddled with issues now too.  :'(

attempting to load the sound driver hangs, and pressing F5 to skip the boot-up files yields a total *censored* because it say "divide error" :'(

The sample in question might be on one of my Visual Basic cds- or my VB4 disks.

      huh?

No it would let you select an image, and then it used it to create a jigsaw puzzle

no trouble, For some reason the keyboard suddenly started working again.

Either way, I was able to copy it to my XP machine, convert the Windows 3.1 API declaration to win32 and compile the fella.

it's riddled with issues now for some reason. I have to prompt for each line in config.sys and skip autoexec.bat just to boot. I think some of the core drivers are corrupted on disk. Thankfully the machine has images of all the install floppies, so when I get around to it I can just reinstall them.

              EDIT:

also regarding the jigsaw program it doesn't literally make jigsaw pieces as we know them; instead they are squares, and various other shapes.

              No actual "jigsaw" shaped pieces.

Also the file->open dialog is very old.
