Wodpws Power Shell. Why doyou ignore it?

Inasmuch as the Batch file structure now in use in Windows dates back to NT, one would think that more users would rater use Windows Power Shell. Or hay not?

I hate dislike windows powershell. If only for the sole reason that it uses .NET... or at least is friendly with .NET classes.

Well, I prefer non .NET solutions. I just wouldn't feel right forcing a huge download just to use a utility I wrote.

COM will live on so I don't see any reason to move away from it- also it makes the smart choice and denies implementation inheritance altogether- which is a stupid OOP idea anyway, since you can't really know how to override a method properly.

Powershell, well I haven't tried it anyway so I really couldn't say.

Agree. The point I tried to make with humor is the security and privacy risk of the .NET stuff. I would not want something like that until is it compact and open source. You just don't know what is inside. I do not want to share in another man's  sins, even when I don't see the sins.

Anybody else? Do you think Power Shell is OK?

Actually- I think the .NET framework source comes with the professional,enterprise and team-system versions, but I'm not 100% sure.
