Anyway, this way i can zip a file...what about zip an entire folder?
 

Yes you can do that too. You can zip an entire folder tree.

      Not with makecab, which only does files. Winzip or WinRAR which I mentioned before.

        You can download the free compressors 7zip (Windows GUI) and 7za.exe (command line) which can compress files and folders into zip files.

        http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

        Click on "Command Line Version" for 7za.exe which is in a zip archive - so you may need 7zip to unarchive it.
