Then you aren't doing enough comparitive shopping...
I've heard you say this before but you should state some examples...
Also added to the value of something is a little thing called Customer Service...
I jave had to return dead MBoard/CPU combos to both newegg and Tiger.
newegg's replacement took 4 days ground shipping....
I fought with Tiger for over 60 days til they grudgingly gave in...

Once again I have to agree with Patio 'cause that's the way it is.
It seems that everything I got for TD have some kind of issue.
Always get good stuff from NewEgg.

I just bought an entire sysytem from Newegg for $1000.00 which included Antec 900 Case, 8 GIGS Ram, Motherboard, 640 gig HD, Video Card, and a few smaller items. All these things without a hitch.

I love newegg. I get everything there. Also the under 1k part made me laugh. I think all the motherboards are under 1k. There might be some server boards but I dont know. Whats this motherboard for and I cant help you pick one out

You need to give some source for this. Yes, the BBB investigates them because TD is a member of the BBB. If they really wanted to scam us in a big way they would not use the BBB.

Fore more about this, Google Tiger Direct BBB
and get lots of info. Some sob stories and how people did not get their rebates. Blah, blah, blah. Of more concern is selling merchandise that does not hold up well. Which is my main complaint. But buy the better stuff and you don't have that problem. And avoid rebates.

It's probably more popular because its the cheapest. A lot of people foolishly invest in the cheapest option, often ending up being very disappointed.

What's quite funny about all this is in the UK we have two main hardware providers and its the same story. One is slightly more expensive but offers better quality goods and has good customer service. The other is a nightmare of short living components and customer service to commit suicide over. (but that's just personel experience. Btw don't ask me why I say this, I have a list of everything I every bought and what went wrong)

I find tiger direct, while sometimes having cheaper prices, their shipping makes up for it, while neweggs shipping is a lot cheaper and over all cheaper.

I use Super Biiz a lot. They are cheaper than New Egg on some stuff, like hard drives and DVD drives. The price on Motherboards are about the same. I have had no problems from eather Co. New Egg has a better deal on computer cases most of the time.
