I have a Gateway MX8711 laptop that all of a sudden quit working. When I try to turn it on all I get is a red light that flashes 3 times on the front of the unit. I removed the battery and just plugged power cord without battery and didn't even get the light. I also tried the power cord with the battery installed. The computer is about 2 years old with the original battery. Any thoughts would be appreciated
