Access is Denied: XP SP3 Update

For the 5th time I've tried updating to SP3, I get an "Access is Denied" message when it is updating the registry keys...The update window just dissapears after 5 seconds of updating the registry keys, then displays the message.

Which method are you using?
One way is to download the whole thing and save it to a CD.
Then reboot in safe mode.
Log in as Administrator.
Do not connect to the internet.
Turn off ALL the AV and Anti Spy and Anti wherever.
Then start the SP3 from the CD.
That should work.  :D

...and make sure, your computer is totally clean (garbage + malware).

I went to update.microsoft.com and got it from there. I closed all my programs and tried to install it. I didn't get any errors untill it dissapeared.
