      Maybe you could leave HP off that list? Seeing how you had trouble before. Umax are good.

        I prefer Canon or Epson scanners and printers personally. HP are good usually but as Dias says, depends if you want to go with HP again...?

        I have an Agfa Snapscan but I think you don't see that brand outside Europe.

          hi again i think u maybe right about crossing them off my list...when i had the presario
          i bought a canon scanner.that wouldent load up either so i took them to a computer
          school i went to.they said we can install it......they couldent no matter what they did.
          then they tried to install it into a different computer same results.
