Could you not just end its process through task manager or uninstall the application?

I just done a Google search on I Know Key and I found that its actually a USB device. Just look at the USB ports of your computer and if you see the I Know Key attached to one then just pull it out?

Nope...you missed the point on this.....all you do is plug it in to start the procedure, remove it,  and then the next time you have access to the pc you insert it again and download all the activity....it doesn't stay connected to the machine......

          Heres how they describe it...........

          Plug into any PC

          Automatically installs without a trace
Remove it and it tracks activity while you’re away

Plug it in when you return to see pictures of what was viewed

I get your point- and it was really a quote from their site-, but this is never true. there is ALWAYS something- if nothing else, a discrepancy between what can be seen on disk through DeviceIOCtl() and the API. (same for registry).

On the other hand- what it really is is a flash drive with an autorun. You could disable the Removable Storage service when you aren't using the PC.

wait a second- there's a FREE MESSENGER GUIDE! OMG!

            That's like- valueless- absolutely free!

Actually- one thing that would prevent this 100% would probably be running as a limited user.

You want to protect yourself against someone using "I Know Key" on your machine? Can't ya just set the computer to stop the hard-disk or enter stand-by when idle and request a password on waking up? ......... 8)

You could always disable its service by going to start, run and type in services.msc. Find the service for this program and disable it  :D
