not your ordinary LAN connection problem (i think)
« on: April 14, 2009, 06:15:03 AM »
Our router was doing great until recently. For some unknown reason, LAN connection is not working.BUT, the weird thing is, the internet connection does. What's weird about this is that the internet connection throughout the PCs (3 of them) is connected through LAN. The LAN suddenly went out. My problem is now, how come the LAN connection suddenly got lost? (We are all using windows XP).

Can this be some sort of malware problem? Thanks.

Try unplugging the cable and plug it again. What happened now?
