Removing unwanted windows programs

Hi guys,
Running XP, SP3.
I'm just having a nose around on my system, and clearing out any unwanted files and folders.
When l go into the add/remove programs option there are three entries, with no sizes shown, and l don't know whether to delete them or not. I also haven't a clue as to what they are.......
Microsoft compression client pack 1.0 for windows xp
Microsoft user-mode driver framework feature pack 1.0
Microsoft visual c++ 2005 redistributable
To remove or not to remove, that is the question.

I don't have those 3 programs. Btw how did you get those 3 download them? or windows updates.

Since these are M$ programs, I'd leave them alone.

Kingpincer, l have no idea! I think they appeared when l received the update of SP3 from SP2, but don't qoute me on that. However they should all be on the MS update site.
