my laptop keeps shutting down and hitting problems that dont make sense!! think some parts of the system registry have been removed or are failing in some way. want to recover the laptop using the recovery disk provided but dont believe the disk is loading properly and not allowing me to run the disk please help!!

when disk is installed it comes up in the E drive with just showing the programs that the disk contains and from there i cannot load any!!!

You need to BOOT to the recovery CD. Change your boot order in BIOS and save changes.
