    Sound issues
    « on: April 18, 2009, 03:28:02 AM »
Well guys here i am again...if it wasn't for bad luck i'd have no luck at all.
Heres my issue....I'm a reg World of Warcraft player and use Team Speak (client version) to comunicate with other players in game.  Tonight while i was playing my sound started to get all scratchy and then i wasn't able to be heard on Team Speak.  Thought maybe it was WOW causing the problem so i shut the game down and periodically still heard the scratchy noises.  Tryed logging out of TS, and back in...same issues...was able to hear ppl but was unable to be heard.  Tryed uninstalling and reinstalling Team speak to no avail.  When ever i would push to talk other people said all they heard was static and stuff.  Looked everywhere on Team Speak forums and found no answers.  Checked all of my sound and microphone settings in windows and everything seems fine.  But...since my issue i can no longer hear myself when i talk into the microphone and am unable to play with my microphone volume settings.  Also checked my Realtek HD audio manager with same problem, cant adjust micrphone settings.  Tryed rolling back my sound driver to no avail.  Is there something in overlooking?  Is there anyone out there that has any suggetions to help solve this problem?  Heres my system info.....

My first suggestion would be to use a system restore point created before you had this problem.  If its not switched on then try going to control panel - system - hardware tab -device manager.  Expand the sound, video and game controller's section and see if it shows any faults (yellow triangle with an exclamation mark), if there is, double click it and click the troubleshoot button and follow the instruction.

      Hope this helps.

I'm sorry but are you sure it's not you're speakers?
