Running out of Steam!

Hi, I just wondered if anybody is having a prob with the pc game EMPIRE TOTAL WAR. I have played all the Total Wars in the past but for some reason I cannot play this game even though I have this new site called STEAM. Files will not open, and I wonder if I can delete Steam altogether and just play the game by the disc?

Unfortunately, you cannot play the game without steam. To run the game, you must run the platform, STEAM. There is no way to get Empire total war without STEAM. unless, of course, its fake or pirate.
