    I have a bus master 3d sound card but i am unable to get any effects such as echo when i am trying to voice record(any ideas please)

      Try to go to control panel - hardware - device manager and look for sounds and see if there is a yellow exclamation point on one of them.

        Hi king, thank you so much for taking the time to help me. I have just been to control panel and sound audio properties then hardware and i see no yellow exclamation point anywere.

          Is this a new problem.......did it work at one time?......disable the card in device manager and reboot.

          What card do you have? Brand and model.
          I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

            The soun card i am using is 3D soundcard Full Duplex 32-bit bus Master Intergrated SRS 3D Sound Technology.
