I just connect the ethernet cord from my router directly into a special bio-neural implant. then I simply siphon gigabytes of data from cyberspace.

My experiment failed, though, since most of the data I gathered was both irrelevant and completely useless. I'm not interested in who J-Lo is marrying this week, nor do I wish to know of ways to increase my bustline. these were the main themes in the data, along with speculation as to the development of fake reality TV shows and celebrity relationships.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

But how 'bout those new Portabello mushroom pasta recipes ? ?
That in itself must have made it worthwhile...

That's true, but it got a bit mixed up with other data. for example, my attempt to make it failed since the recipe data was mangled. It asked me to add 5 cups of Bill Cosby and a quarter litre of Regis Philbin. needless to say they were uncooperative.

I found the recipe odd in that it didn't ask for the mushrooms that were the theme of the entire product.

5 Cups of Cosby and a quarter litre of Regis would end up in 20 + years of idiotic TV programming wouldn't it? ?..........uhhhh oh wait.  Nevermind...

yes, that's why I was hesitant to follow the recipe. my hesitation was meaningless since they refused to allow me to take portions of them! I even said, well, human bodies are modular, just an Arm or a leg is all I need. I mean, srsly, it isn't so bad to part with an arm or a leg. they grow back. portabello mushrooms d... well, they do, but that's beside the point. Now please, I have this rusty hacksaw with me, just sit still and let me chop off one of your arms or legs.

Anyway, they called security and threw me out. thankfully, they decided not to start their joint project, "who wants to succumb to terrible jokes from a elderly comedian who won't shut the *censored* up".

So in a sense I saved the world. I even found a real recipe. turns out, it wasn't 5 cups of cosby but rather 5 cups of chopped mushrooms.

And with that, I scrapped the whole bio-neural implant idea. But once the technology is perfected... it will be the fastest browser! We just have to wait for Al Gore to perfect it.

PORTABELLO MUSHROOMS AND ANGEL HAIR PASTA Recipe
  Italian Pasta

Ingredients:
5 tablespoons of olive oil
1 large leek or 2 bunches of scallions
4 minced garlic cloves
6 ozs. of portabello mushrooms, diced or sliced
1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
10 ozs. of angel hair pasta

Directions:
Heat the olive oil. Sautee the leeks (or scallions) for about 2 minutes. Add the garlic, and sautee for another 30 seconds or so. Add mushrooms, and sautee until they are wilted and the liquid the mushrooms gave off has evaporated. (I don't mind the liquid, I actually think it works better with it in the end..) Then add the vinegar. Stir, season with a bit of salt, and set aside.

THEN, cook the angel hair pasta. (Allowing the veggie mixture to set while the pasta is cooking allows the flavor to enhance itself.) When pasta is ready, drain, and then add the veggie mixture.

Serves 4-5

Firefox 3.5 beta 4 is really fast, looks to be on par with chrome. can't really tell the difference in speed though. A few miliseconds makes no difference to me anyway.

If you're still talking about milliseconds, it must be crazy golf you're playing. ;D

If I wanted extra time, the first thing I'd do is simply cut out browsing entirely.
