Compaq Recovery System Help !

Hi. My computer wasn't starting up and had some problems so i decided to do the Compaq Recovery System. Most of my programs are working perfectly fine and i have all the documents i had before but I really need Microsoft word, power point, excel and all that stuff which i had installed before. They were working perfectly before i did the recovery but now they just wont open and it say program not installed or something. Also, when i connect my printer with a USB it doesn't seem to work when i try to print something! I desperately need my computer for homework so please help me recover these Microsoft programs and help me connect my printer. Thank You SO Much.

When you used Compaq Recovery, the computer was reset to its original state.
Whatever programs were installed later (like Office) must be reinstalled.
Do you have Office CD?
If not, you'll have to buy it, or switch to free OpenOffice: http://www.openoffice.org/

As for the printer, most likely, you need to reinstall printer's driver.
