Piano, bass clarinet (Which means I can play the "regular" clarinet as well), and the autoharp (but, anyone can play the autoharp)

I've always been interested in learning acoustic guitar.
The main reason is simply because its portable.

yeah, it's some kind of ancient flute instrument, and yeah it's cool! We need a flute to make the highs sound good and probably some bass to make the lows some good and the disco guy can record our productions for us LOL

its not a flute at all it may be a woodwind, I need it in fingering chart to the notes to really play it but other then that.

Sounds like a great band! Wait who has the lighting and stuff? Who wants to do that?

I forgot to say I used to play the baritone in 4th grade and the trumpet in 5th

I played Clarinet for one year
Played Saxophone for a year.
Played guitar for a bit
Recorder...
Small bits of harmonica
I little drums.
Other instruments I forgot

But I don't play most of them anymore, piano is the only steady one.

I'm just curious... if I composed a piece of music (I dont know if I really have the time to -- the only program that I have for music composition only works on XP...) do you all think you could record it with Audacity?

Better question: Do you all have good recording equipment? As well as some way of keeping temp (whether it be an MP3 recording, metronome, or whatever you can come up with)
Typically, most bands that do multiple track recording do it in this order (Relatively):
Drums (which, I honestly cant compose for the life of me... I could always try)
Guitar
Acoustic instruments
High instruments
Digital instruments
Vocals

For segments listed above, it usually goes instruments with the melody first, then harmony second. Harmony needs to be tuned to melody..

I'm not making any promises, since I probably really dont have the time to do all of this. Also, I dont have a good recording mic anyways (not here, I would either have to borrow one from the school or get my other one from my dads house).

Its possible and since my dad plays keyboard that we have such things, the only issue is that one will play rock the other jazz and its going to be a mix of things. Also, I wouldnt hastle with the equipment so it be like a pc mic.

I know, instead of composing, I could just *cough* LEGALLY *cough cough* distribute some of my pep-bands music...

There is quite a selection, but, we wouldent be making our own music, just covers.
I know I could borrow all of that stuff though.
We never have piano parts, sometimes electric bass (which works for Piano and keyboard) or tuba (which also works for keyboard/piano) or baritone (once again)

Audacity has a metronome built in, it's called a click track.
