How To Learn Data Recovery in Windows Based systems?

Sorry I didn't know where to post this, but is there a website, book, or class I could take to learn this? I'm taking a class to get my A+ certification this summer in hopes that I could start a mini side business of PC repair and I know there is a lot of money in data recovery and laptop repair.

By the way, I haven't found any good advice on learning laptop repair other than taking one apart and learning. Why aren't there any classes on this subject. I live in NYC so my area has classes in just about every other subject. Can you recommend a good book?
