Operating systems

Hello, I'm new to this & have a question.  I'm attending an on-line university & have to answer 10 questions about computers.  My question is this: Describe the 3 types of operating systems.  If someone could help out I'd appreciate it.  Please send any responses to [EmailRemoved to prevent SPAM]

    well if he's new at it maybe he didnt consider it.  Look for mac,linux and windows.
