    Shortcut Variables
    « on: May 09, 2009, 11:40:49 PM »
I don't know what they're called, so I'm calling them shortcut variables. I'm wondering about the variables such as %computername%, what all variables are there? I can't find anything about them.

Type SET at the command prompt to see what they all are on your computer.

        List:

        %CD% - Current Directory
        %DATE%, %TIME%, %NUMBER_OF_PROCESSORS%  - Self Explanatory
%OS% - Doesn't exactly tell you the OS, just the family(Like Win2k, XP are shown as Windows_NT in this variable)
If you dont know DOS, you dont know Windows...

Thats why Bill Gates created the Windows NT Family.
