I can't see url's when I hover?
« on: May 16, 2005, 11:11:28 AM »

Hi,  :-[  :-[

I recently re-installed xp Home additon. All was going fine until I noticed that when I hover over a link, you CAN NOT see the url at the foot of the page. Therefore I don't know where I'm going, and for obvious reasons want to avoid certain sites.
As I can't see the url's, it means I am not able to see the download progress as well.
My tools/internet options/advanced settings are the same as all other systems I have that work.
Is it this, or maybe an activeX control.
Cheers
Duncan

Do you have Service Pack 2 installed? Have you tried running a Windows Update by going to http://www.microsoft.com ?
