I'm not so sure what you mean by this.

If you mean it's just zooming out, there's a button in the lower right corner of Internet Explorer that should say something like 50% or 100%. Click it to restore it to normal zoom level (100%).

Hope this helps!

Harry, if I understand correctly, put your mouse on the bottom right hand corner of your page and slowly stretch the page dragging the bottom right hand corner of the page down to the area just above the clock. Then close the page with the red X in the top right hand corner. The next time the page reopens it should open to full page.

You mean, the IE windows does not appear in full screen?

I'm pretty sure there is a setting for that, to choose whether or not new windows open in full screen.

What IE version are you using?
    Ever considered Firefox?

Try this.  After you open the browser and maximize it, hold down the left-shift key and close the browser.  Now open it again.  Does it open maximized?

      Try Alan's suggestion above Harry...
In regards to FireFox you have been misled...it's just another browser...it is simply installed and runs just like IE although much better...
No changes to Windows are neccessary at all.
      Hope this helps.
