    TrueIP e-mailing
    « on: April 25, 2009, 08:16:51 PM »
Hello, My friend currently has an FTP server but his ISP gives him a dynamic IP address, we found this software called TrueIP which is very fast at detecting IP address changes (internally and externally).  It has several options for you to find out your new ip-addresses.  I am interested in having it e-mail me my new friends new ip address when he gets one. here are the settings:

If anyone has any suggestions for new settings for this, it would be greatly appriciated, pleast note that the to and from ip addresses can be anything, if need be ill make another account on that given e-mail site.

works for me, the site goes down for that pretty often, sometimes it does not even work for me either lol.

A mod can close this topic, we solved the problem by using no-ip (free easy dynamic domain ftw?)
