Will Micro$oft ever learn to ask first?
« on: May 08, 2009, 05:46:43 PM »
On my Vista, I upgraded Internet Explorer to ver. 8 last night, and without even asking, IE made itself my default browser.
Obviously, Firefox is my regular browser.
Why won't Micro$oft stop pissing people off?
I guess, they'll never change without some court order.
In Europe, they're able to teach Micro$oft some manners, why not here, in US?

Well, most Americans are busy and don't notice changes in browsers.  Others just don't care.

I installed it too through Windows Update a few days ago, but I knew it was happening.

It came up like a normal installer, asking me what to import, and if I want it as default browser.
