Acer Asprire one won't boot

Hi,  have an acer aspire one netbook with windows xp installed. When I press the power button the acer screen shows up and then it tells me that windows did not start successfully and i can choose how to start it : in safe mode, or normally. If i select one, the windows screen comes up as if its booting but then a blue screen flashes quickly (too quick to read) and it brings me back to the acer screen and this stats all over again. Does anyone know how to fix this???

You recently installed the windows?

no the computer is a few months old and his happened  few days ago

do you have a antivirus installed?and you have only 2 options when windows advanced option comes?try to load the last known good configuration all you need is herehttp://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000626.htm .Hope this will help
