Trouble Using Touchpad
« on: August 28, 2009, 09:02:55 AM »
I plan to purchase a laptop or a netbook but I have problems whenever I use the touchpad. I have arthritis and it's hard to move the cursor around using the touchpad. I was told that all laptops allow the user to connect a mouse if desired. Is this true? I have been hesitant to purchase a laptop for this reason.

Sure. You can use a wireless mouse or a usb mouse with any laptop.

How is this useless? He has arthritis and needs a wireless mouse because he can't use the touch pad. My mom has arthritis and she uses the same mouse I posted. Not only does she love the way it feels but she can also use it alot easier then she can a mouse. I realize that I may not have answered his original question, but I had seen someone else already had so I figured I would go the extra step and SHOW something that would be even more so helpful.

Also, I don't know what kind of garbage wireless mice you have bought, but all the ones including the one I am using right now work just fine. I love them more then wired mice because you don't have to worry about the cord getting stuck or lag due to the roller. As a gamer, I love my wireless mouse!

I've used a wireless mouse for years and have had no problems.  One thing however, always have spare batteries on hand because they usually die when your in the middle of something.
