    problem with toshiba laptop

    Hi,
    I have a problem with my laptop.  It would work fine for several hours and all of a sudden the screen would go blank.  It would become a blank screen while I'm surfing the internet, word processing, etc.  If anyone knows how to fix the problem would be great.  Thanks!

          Okay. Just a bit more info needed.

          Operating system and service pack?
          Any hardware/software changes recently?
          Is it a blue screen or a white screen you get?

            it is windows vista and i believe a bluish color screen.  not sure of service pack.

            I don't want to bring bad news here, but those Satellites A200-A300 series are known for motherboard problems.
            I hope it's not the case.
