    about change of public IP

    hello all,

       am sorry for the newbiee question .... could any one please tell me... if i need to change the public IP where do i need to change .... do i in windows 2003 server or in the firewall...

     am using
      system: HP Proliant ML110 G2
             OS: Windows 2003 server SE

      Are you referring to an internal IP such as for a LAN or are you talking about from your ISP?

        god *censored* it... four years, four days- it doesn't matter... It's OLD. obviously the original poster has lost interest or realized that his goal was both stupid and likely impossible since it isn't a setting on the PC but rather of the DHCP server that assigns the outward facing router/PC an IP address on the ISP's network.

        I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
