    Can't run applications

    Computer: HP Pavillion 8755C,   O.S. windows XP Pro Version 2002 S.P.3,  Intel Pentium III 803MGz 512MB RAM

    I download an application and try to open the file so I can save/run it

    I click in the double click the desktop Icon and nothing happens, Also i right click and hit OPEN nothing happens, I right click hit RUN AS... and nothing happens

    One particular program, or any downloaded program?
