Is Windows Repair option available in XP Pro?

I have undertaken many efforts to repair XP Home Edition - some successful; some not.  Last week, for the first time, I wanted to try the same thing with XP Pro, but could not find any option for repair - only re installation of the O/S.  Perhaps one or more of the experts who are involved in this forum could advise whether I failed to see a path to repair of XP Pro; or, conversely, confirm whether this option is available in XP Pro.

Repair Install of XP

I suggest reading through it to get familiar and printing out a reference copy...
Done properly all your apps and data will remain intact.
Done improperly and your data and apps will be gone but you will have a fresh install of XP.

Thanks for the response.  I haven't had time to read thru all the reference materials and associated links - but I gather that, depending on the circumstances, the repair option may or may not show up in either XP Home or Pro.  Guess I've just always been lucky that it showed up in XP Home.
