no power at all
« on: May 27, 2009, 08:06:43 PM »
Okay, a while back the lights flickered (enough to get the UPS to beep) and for some reason my computer won't start at all.  The UPS kept all the other stuff powered.  So I know it's not it or the outlet it's plugged into.  So, do I need to replace the power supply?  Or is it possible something else is wrong?  Thanks!

Take the UPS completely out of the equation and test it that way before you go and buy a new PSU...
Most UPS's have a reset switch as well...so if it took a hit you may want to try that.
