Do I lose Internet explorer cookies after the install?
I don't know about the first bit, but by doing a repair install you will lose all files and data on the computer.
He's playing a game called IRL. Great graphics, *censored* gameplay.
OK I will need to do a repair installation of Windowsxp and do not want to lose my stuff in the profiles. Now I have moved all the data in the documents and settings folder for all users and for each other user. They are safe on another drive. What I need is also to save the cookies from IE and from Firefox to this other drive. How do I do that? I can't find where they are located. Please help.......
If you backup everything in the AppData folder to a flash drive, and then paste it back after the re-install, your cookies will still be there. But, you'd be better off backing-up everything before re-installing.
