Firefox keeps clearing all my passwords and logins

Every time I close Firefox it automatically logs me out of EVERYTHING. When I reopen it I have to log back in to everything. I checked in options and I see a box that says Always clear my private data when I close Firefox but it's NOT checked.

It just started doing this in the last week. ANything else I can check?

just for my clarification, when you say EVERYTHING, do you mean everything fire fox opened, or everything on the desktop all together.  And normally a box will come up asking if you would like fire fox to remember your password.

How do I create a new profile?

I always check the boxes to remember me or keep me logged in. For example when I sign in to Yahoo and check the box that says keep me signed in for 2 weeks. But It signs me out automatically when I close Firefox.

It has happened to me on internet explorer, but only on my vista laptop.
