And how would it be to run simulatenously multiple virtualization softwares? A VPC next to a VMWare?

And get vmware here: http://www.vmware.com/download/ but it ain't free.

As I think I mentioned before, there are several free flavours of VMWare and they're pretty good.  There are also other virtualisation systems worth considering.  Have a look >here<.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

Just got that M$ Virtual PC installed....IT seems to work OK, although I don't have any sound, and this computer could definitely use more RAM!  I've only got 800 MB allocated for it.  I pretty much split the total RAM on the system between the REAL OS and the Virtual OS (only 1.5 GB total)..

I installed Win7 RC..  I couldn't get the eMachines OEM WinXP disk to install..tried it two times :P....After installing it and restarting it wouldn't boot up...It just sits there at a Black screen...

Anyway, I'll have to read through the tutorial and see what this thing can do.. As a matter of fact, I'm using it right now, I'm logged into Computer Hope with my Virtual Machine ;D   It seems like a lot of fun and I can totally experiment with it and screw it up.....and just reinstall if something goes too wrong.

Broni, I'm not exactly sure what you meant by not being able to use full screen on your M$ Virtual PC...  It fits on my screen just as if it was my regular OS..... :o

Well DUH!

Virtual PC isn't emulating a eMachines, now is it?

You can install the Toolkit, or whatever it's called- It's in the menu somewhere, and automatically downloads a installer to the guest OS.

lol              actually the reason I tried was because earlier in this tread I asked if it would work and some said YESSSSS!   (but not with that exact wording)  I'm not surpised it didn't work....it's no big deal to me

about the Guest OS thingy, I'll have to look at it later...

I think, it's because it's OEM. OEM is tied up to hardware configurations, and virtual hard drive, for instance, it's not a real eMachines hard drive.
