    Ethernet firewire

    Hi!everyone.I am computer beginner.

    I confuse with Ethernet and firewire. Is it Ethernet=firewire?

    What i saw is Ethernet and firewire both using 5e cable,so what different between them?

    Ethernet and "Firewire" are different standards by which data is communicated.

    Ethernet is the IEEE 802.3 standard.  Firewire is the IEEE 1394 standard.
