keyboard and mouth int working

hi
just bouht a used desktop ufortunatly the key board and mouth in not working.
The xp is on and also the light on the mouth and keyborad is on too but the mouth in not moving also keyboad not working too.Tryed diferent keyboard and mouth even with usb conection its still not working.I clean then inside anyway not working.
any suggestion?

Complain to whoever sold you this system?  Try a different keyboard/mouse?

You might test the connection for each unit, the Keyboard and then the mouse, by making sure they are in their correct socket in the laptop.

These days many connections are color coded. However there is also a little picture near each connection, showing which unit needs to be plugged in to that socket.

Try to swap them over and test it.

I read his initial post thinking that maybe some keys were non functional....but there are "S" and "E" elsewhere in the cry for help in which he was trying to find words that sounded the same that would work with the 92 of 104 keys still functional.

Quick Conversion replacing S's with T's and E's with H's to correct for the non function of these so called keys translates to:
