Easy CD creator 5 platinum
« on: May 20, 2005, 05:31:04 AM »
Hi, I installed easy CD 5 platinum and then uninstalled it again. Now whenever I start up my computer windows installer comes up and tells me that it is installing it again and needs the easy cd disk. This happens at other times and is soo anoying it is unbelievable. How do I get rid  of my computers unhealthy and obsessive desire to install this program. thanks  ???

Well... That might complicate things just a little...  ;)  Just delete all of the files from the program then...

Have used detailed search.
Managed to find some files and have killed them off.
Will get back to you when I restart my system
Thanks for your help

Strange... Does your CD ROM drive still read CDs ok?

Yeh. Apart from the anoying messages everything else seems to be fine. It only happens on my user, not anyone else. Does that mean it must be in my documents and settings?

Use a registry scanner to clean the registry of any redundant entries that may be the cause of such behaviour.
