IObit Security 360 Beta 1.0
« on: June 09, 2009, 08:15:04 AM »
There is a new antimalware out that I haven't had a chance to try out yet. It's been pre-beta for about a year now and is hopefully as good as some of their other software.

Beta! Use at your own risk!

I don't think I'll need it. Half way done and 14 threats found.

I have to say it looks great. Seems like great features too.

I'll try Spycar when it's finished scanning. Probably only tracking cookies it found though (I hope).

Firefox works with Spycar. It's a bunch of small exe's you download and run.

I'll use IE (8) anyway - it will probably give a more accurate reading LOL.

One question first....Should I disable other anti-mal programs?

By the way, after a full scan, this detected two of CA Personal Firewall's files as a Trojan.Agent.

I've had no problems with it. It is fairly slow to open though, but it has good detection rates.
