Need help with my Inspiron1501 by Dell.........please

Hi:
    I'm new to computers,kindly advice:
    On the right hand side on of my laptop there is a stick that for some reason became dis-engage,next to it
there is a small tray with part #FH196 (I guess).I have tried to push it in but unsuccesfully.Can you help?

The only stick i can think would be on a laptop would be a wireless antenna for connecting to the web...
Does this sound about right ? ?

Also if you mention the brand and model # we can find the manual online to tell us what this stick is...
